If you know the cake design you want, you can call in your order during normal business hours at (817) 488-7580. If you’re not sure what cake design you want, you are welcome to visit our showroom during business hours and one of our Cake designers will gladly assist you in designing your cake. If possible, it is a good idea to bring an invitation or party napkin for design inspiration. For Wedding cakes, it is suggested that you call ahead to schedule an appointment for a Free consultation with cake tasting.
If you have a complex cake design which requires handmade sugar paste flowers or characters we recommend at least a two weeks’ notice, so the sugar paste items can be premade and have time to dry and harden. For less complex Party cakes, it is advised to give us 7 days’ notice. If you don’t have 7 days’ notice, we understand and will do our best to accommodate your last-minute order, so please call us at (817) 488-7580 as soon as you can to place your order. Most of the time, we even have same day options avaliable. Please note we do not take orders via email, so please call us for prompt service. Although we may be able to provide you a price quote, you DO NOT have an order “BOOKED” in our production schedule until payment has been made. For last minute gatherings, we do have Dessert cakes, Confetti cakes and several varieties of cupcakes in stock daily. For Wedding cakes, popular dates fill up quickly, so it is recommended to book your date ahead of time to ensure availability. Feel free to call us to check if your wedding date is still available.
Standard 9” round Dessert cakes start at $50. Standard 9” round Confetti cakes start at $60 for local pick up. This size cake serves about 12 - 18 birthday cake slices. Two tier cakes start at $200. Sculpted cakes start at $300. Prices go up from there based on size and complexity. Call or email us for more specific pricing information.
Wedding cakes iced in buttercream start at $6 per serving, so if you want a cake to serve 100 people, you can expect the price to start around $600. Fondant cakes are at least $1 more per serving. A good rule of thumb is that the more elaborate, intricate, and time consuming the cake design, the greater price range you should expect. We DO NOT charge extra for our standard fillings or different flavors of cake. See our flavors page for more information. But do keep in mind, we can do other flavors as well.
They are made fresh daily with our special recipes using only the finest ingredients. Our flavors are a variety of classic and contemporary. Some of our cupcakes have a yummy filling for an extra burst of flavor. Some of our cupcakes are iced in unique icings such as chocolate ganache, or dipped fondant that give a very smooth appearance, and creamy buttercream. They are so unique, they have been featured in magazines, and voted “The Best in Town”.
Yes, simply call our store at (817) 488-7580 during business hours and we will let you know what selections are available. We make 6 to 8 flavors of cupcakes daily, so we cannot guarantee all our cupcake varieties will be available for same day orders, but we will make sure you are pleased with your assortment.  You can also check DoorDash, GrubHub and UberEats for prompt delivery options.  
Yes, you can order Custom cupcakes by calling or coming by our showroom. Please speak to one of our Cake designers about special decorations such as sprinkles, character images, buttercream flowers, sanding sugar, scrolling or toy picks to coordinate with your party design.
Yes, our cupcakes are the perfect ending to a casual or outdoor wedding. Cupcakes also make a great Wedding favor when individually boxed. Wedding cupcakes are available to order by calling or coming by our showroom. Please speak to one of our Cake designers about wedding decorations such as rosettes, scrolling, sugar flowers, or sanding sugar to coordinate with your wedding design. You are also welcome to schedule a Free tasting by appointment.
Yes, we do have small, medium and large cupcake display stands available for a rental fee with the purchase of 4 dozen cupcakes or more. Stands may only be rented in conjunction with the purchase of our cupcakes. If you require a stand for your event we encourage you to place your order in advance to ensure stand availability. Stands are available for local orders only and cannot be shipped.
Yes, we do. The large round or square silver cake plateau rents for $50 and the small round silver plateau rents for $25. Silver plateaus may only be rented in conjunction with the purchase of a cake. Plateaus must be returned the following Tuesday after the wedding to avoid late charges.
Yes, we do. Delivery and set-up is available throughout the Dallas and Fort Worth area, and beyond within driving distance. Delivery fee is based on proximity to our showroom and availability. Please contact us for pricing details. We also offer Door-to-Door LOCAL cake delivery. Consider sending a Special Occasion cake garnished with fresh flowers!
Yes, we do use nuts in some of our cakes such as Carrot cake, Italian Cream cake and German Chocolate cake. Since many of our customers suffer from nut allergies, we go to great lengths to avoid any cross contamination. We keep all nuts in sealed containers when not in use, and keep products containing nuts separated from nut free products. However, there are nuts on the premises, so we do not recommend consuming our cupcakes or cakes if you have a severe nut allergy. We do not have peanuts on-site. If bringing products to school functions, please check with school before placing your order to verify brining outside food is acceptable. Please notify Elegant Cakery staff upon ordering, so we can seal packages and label boxes as a NUT FREE product. We will also gladly provide a letter for you to provide to school administrators. However, the acceptance of the product is at the school district staffs’ discretion.
We take great care and pride when packaging your cupcakes. Our cupcake packaging is designed to ensure your cupcakes don’t fall over on the way home. We want them to arrive at their destination looking as they are presented both at our showroom and online. You can have them boxed individually, in a 4-count box, in a 6-count box, in a 1-dozen box, or in a 2-dozen box.
We take great care and pride when packaging your cake. Our cake boards and boxes are designed to ensure your cake does not fall over on the way home. We want them to arrive at their destination looking as they are presented both at our showroom and online. Upon pick up we will gladly help you load tiered cakes to ensure they are placed in your vehicle level to transport home. If preferred, you are welcome to schedule delivery for a fee, but delivery dates and times are very limited.
Yes, we make a delicious Gluten Free and Vegan cakes. Our Chocolate Gluten free cake has won many rave reviews. It is delicious enough for everyone to enjoy!  And we now make delicious Vegan cakes in Lemon, Strawberry, Orange Dream or Chocolate Devils Food. Please order ahead, because they are baked to order.  Some cupcakes available daily.
Our bakery and showroom address is: 2364 E. State Highway 114 Southlake, TX 76092. From the corner of Southlake Blvd. (also known as 1709) and Highway 114, just go West on the service road for about a mile. We will be on your right-hand side BEFORE you get to Kimball. You can also search for the intersection of Shady Lane and Highway 114. We look forward to serving you soon!
Please be aware that we have a strick NO REFUNDS policy.  However, if you are unhappy for any reason, please speak to the manager, and we will do whatever we can to make the situation right.
Upon request we do offer delivery, however the option of local delivery is based on availability in our delivery schedule. Door to Door delivery to Southlake addresses start at $25. Wedding cake delivery & set up rates start at $50 during business hours. Delivery fees are based upon proximity to our showroom. After hours deliveries and Sunday deliveries are available for an additional charge. Ask an associate for details.
Shipping charges are based on total shipping weight and destination zip code. Shipping charges for retail items will be automatically assessed at online checkout. Ask an associate for more details.
Yes, cupcake and cakes are perfect for corporate marketing promotions, customer appreciation gifts, employee incentive programs, thank you gifts, holidays and other occasions. When 10 or more of the same cake or cupcake pack are ordered, we do offer a discount. We will be happy to include your business card, greeting card or promotional material in our gift packages. Some retail items such as Wedding cake toppers or Cake serving knife sets ship directly from the manufacture. Therefore, shipping times do vary. See product description and our terms of use page for more information. If wedding accessories are being ordered, it is advised that you order at least 3 weeks before your wedding date. Please note your event date in comments section at checkout. Shipping charges for retail items will be automatically assessed at checkout. All retail shipments are usually shipped via UPS ground. A tracking number will be emailed to you directly for your convenience.
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. All return requests for unwanted Retail items such as Cake toppers must be made within 7 days of receiving the order. Only sealed, UNUSED Retail merchandise in its original packaging will be accepted. To receive credit: FIRST – Email us at info@elegantcakery.com and obtain a return merchandise authorization number (RMA). Your RMA number must be clearly printed on the outside of the box. No returns will be accepted without the RMA number clearly printed on the outside of the box. No returns will be accepted 14 days after an RMA number has been issued to you. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Please ship your package with adequate insurance for the value of the contents. If your merchandise is lost or damaged while returning, Elegant Cakery will not assume responsibility. Enclose the sales receipt from Elegant Cakery (or photocopy of original). Once a return package is received, a refund will be issued to you minus the 10% restocking charge. Damaged Items? For Damaged Goods Claim, save your shipping box! It needs to be inspected by the carrier. Claims cannot be made for damaged goods if the box is discarded. Contact our customer service department at info@elegantcakery.com to report damaged goods within 2 days of receipt of product. A return merchandise authorization will be given to you UPS or FedEx will pick up your package within 7 days. A refund or replacement will be issued to you when we receive the damaged goods providing all conditions of our return policy are met. Refused Orders? Any order sent to a customer that is refused will be charged the shipping costs plus a restocking charge of 10%. Returned Orders Due to Incorrect Address? If your order is returned to us due to an incorrect address given by the customer at the time of ordering, we will re-ship the order at the customer’s expense. If the customer chooses not to have the order re-shipped, they will be charged a 10% restocking charge plus the original shipping charges.
